GCSE Results

Nerves were high as students arrived to collect their much anticipated GCSE Results.

With what has been a challenging couple of years and this year group being the first to undertake external examinations since 2019, nerves were high as our Year 11s arrived to collect their much anticipated GCSE Results last week.

Mr Tristham said "It was great having everyone back in school for results collection, we have had a fantastic day with our students who have collected GCSE results; they have all worked so hard showing such positivity in all they do. Although there have been many challenges over the last few years due to the pandemic, we have seen our students show more determination than ever to achieve their very best, showing amazing resilience which will undoubtedly support them as they make the next steps on their educational journey… we are proud of every individual. A huge thanks also to our staff team who have provided tremendous support to all our students and families, they have been relentless in all they do."

All students have worked exceptionally hard which was reflected in their results. High performers included Holden Williamson who achieved 8 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s; Georgia Coe who also achieved 8 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s and a grade 7; Evie Ferguson achieved 3 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s and 3 grade 7s; and Milly Burt achieved 7 grade 9s, a grade 7 and a Distinction. Congratulations to you and the many other students who have excelled in their studies!

We look forward to welcoming back some of our Year 11s into Bridgnorth Sixth Form in September.
